Beschreibung
Ancient naval conflicts during the Age of Antiquity (Sparta, Athenians, Persians, Phoenicians, Romans).
This is a tactical naval battle game with flat models - Bimarines and Trimarines with arbalists, catapults, Greek Fire, and corvuses.
The game appears to come with only one scenario.
Instructions are provided on how to construct the paper ships (coloring and mounting).
The map area (not provided) would be set to a grid 36" x 36" with 3" squares in which to place terrain (not provided) and your ships.
Game duration is between 5 and 10 turns. With a turn the following events take place;
1) Check Wind & Weather changes.
2) Determine which player conducts an Action (roll a die or flip a coin).
3) Ship or Fleet Action is conducted only after rolling dice and comparing the results to Ship Efficiency.
4) Combat occurs during an Action. It is usually simultaneous.
5) Actions are continued until every ship has had an opportunity to take an Action.
6) Adjudicate loss of ships from fire, ship capturing, etc.
